Zwiebelkuchen (German pronunciation: [ˈt͜sviːbl̩ˌkuːxn̩], lit. 'onion cake') is a savory German onion cake made of steamed onions, diced bacon, cream, and caraway seeds on either a yeast or leavened dough.[1]
